Meet world’s thinnest tablet Apple iPad Air 2

WASHINGTON: Apple has finally unwrapped its flagship world’s thinnest tablet Apple iPad Air 2 on Thursday.

The Apple iPad Air 2 is 6.1mm thin which is powered by 64-bit A8X processor with 40% faster CPU and 2.5x GPU and runs on company’s latest iOS 8.1 operating system.

The device has 180x the graphics performance of the original iPad with 10 hours of battery life.

Apple iPad Air 2 features and 8 megapixel iSight rare camera with 1.12 micron pixels and f2.4 which can record 1080p HD video.

As expected iPad features finger scanner Touch ID similar to the one present in iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus.

Apple also debut for next generation 802.11AC Wi-Fi with MIMO which is 2.8x faster than the current versions available in the market.

The iPad is available in the storage capacities of 16/64/128 GB and cost $499, $599 and $699 respectively.
