Alarming decrese in education standards: Only 3.3pc candidates clear CSS exams

ISLAMABAD: The quality and standard of education in the country is alarmingly decreasing, as only 3.3 percent candidates could clear written test of this year Civil Superior Services (CSS) exams.

According to the details, as per CSS 2014 results as many as 24640 candidates had registered for the exams and 13170 candidates appeared.

Just 439 candidates could clear the written test which included 294 male and 145 female candidates.

The candidates were informed by Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) that their medical and psychological test will be conducted as per schedule.

According to the FPSC sources, interviews of the successful candidates will be held after the appointment of new chairman of FPSC.
