MQM demands security for its chief from UK government

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Rauf Siddique has written a letter to British Prime Minister David Cameron to provide more security to the party supremo  Altaf Hussain in wake of  recent threats allegedly given by Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.

It is letter, Siddiqui expressed concerns over the threats allegedly hurled at MQM chief by TTP, adding that TTP presence in UK was not only a threat to Altaf Hussain but also for the UK itself.

The MQM leader has also sent letters to British Foreign Secretary, Interior Secretary and Scotland Yard chief highlighting the perceived threats the party chief in facing in UK.
