KARACHI: Following the third consecutive whitewash by Australia, Samaa News channel made five especial mummies of Pakistan cricket team in its report.
The private TV channel harshly criticised five experienced national players over their bad performance. The players called mummies were skipper Misbah-ul-Haq, T20 captain Shahid Afridi, wicket-keeper batsman Umar Akmal, left-arm pacer Sohail Tanvir and right-hand batsman Asad Shafiq.
Misbah-ul-Haq scored 4609 runs in his 151 One-Day International (ODIs). He made 37 half-centuries but no century while his highest is 96 runs.
Afridi scored 7665 runs in his 384 ODIs in which he made six centuries and 36 half-centuries while he took 383 wickets with 34.08 averages.
Umar Akmal scored 2697 runs in 99 ODIs in which he made two hundreds and 19 half-centuries.
Asad Shafiq put 1188 runs in just 49 matches following nine half-centuries while Sohail Tanvir took 70 wickets with 64.87 average giving 2441 runs in 59 ODIs.
