KARACHI: Family members of a victim who was allegedly shot dead by police in Karachi, were staging protest at Five Star Chowrangi on Monday night, media reported.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leaders, Baber Ghauri and Khawaja Izhar Ul Hassan also visited the protest.
One track at the Chowrangi has been blocked for traffic as the family members of the deceased staged protest demonstration by placing the body on the road.
The victim’s family demanded the government to arrest the culprits involved in the killing.
Earlier in the Monday (today) evening police allegedly shot dead a common man while viewing him as a dacoit in Hyderi area of Karachi.
The deceased, identified as Muhammad Asad, was an employee of a private textile company.
