Violence flares up in Karachi as 4 killed within half hour

KARACHI: Violence in the port city of Pakistan has flared up suddenly on Sunday, when four people were killed in different incidents of violence within half hour.

According to police and rescue sources, armed assailants shot dead a person identified as Waleed in Khamosh Colony of Gulbahar area of Karachi. The body was shifted to a local hospital for medico legal formalities.

In another incident, two people were killed in Qasba Colony, Orangi Town by unidentified persons.

The dead bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortem.

The deceased could be identified till filing of this report.

In yet another incident, a headless body was recovered from a house in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Block 12.

Police shifted the body to Jinnah Hospital for medico legal formalities and investigating the killing.
