Qadri ends 59-day long streak of camping out at Constitutional Avenue

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri left for Faisalabad from the sit-in venue at D- Chowk Islamabad, ending his 59-day long streak of being camped out on a road in his bid to oust the incumbent Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and bring about what his party said ‘green’ revolution in the country.   

On Sunday Dr Tahirul Qadri left the sit-in venue for Faisalabad to address PAT public gathering in the city.

before leaving for Faisalabad, he said that he was going to address the public gathering in Faisalabad, while the sit-in would continue till the revolution.

It is to be mentioned here that PAT and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have been camping out at Constitutional Avenue to press the government to pack up.
