Imran Khan visits families of stampede’s victims

MULTAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan reached Multan on Sunday and visited the families of those, who lost their lives in an stampede after the PTI public rally at Qasim Bagh Stadium on October 10.

Imran khan visited the home of deceased party worker Saleem Ullah in Qasim Bella area in Multan and expressed condolence with his family.

The PTI chief announced Rs 0.5 million compensation  to the family and also announced to send Saleem Ullah’s brother to Masqat for employment.

The PTI head, who could not attend the funerals of the deceased Saturday  due to unavailability of flight, also went to the home of another victim Hassan Mawiah and condoled with the family over bhis death in the tragedy.

Imran also announced compensation amount of 800,000 rupees for Hassan family and one of his family member would be send to abroad for job.

Hassan’s father announced that he would donate the compensation amount, to be pair by the PTI, to Shaukat Khanam Memorial Hospital.

Imran Khan is scheduled to visit families of other deceased workers .
