PIA 711 pilots refuse to fly plane over non-payment of wages

LAHORE: Pilots of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) flight 711 have refused to fly planes because they have not been paid their wages, TheNewsTribe.com reported on Saturday.

According to TheNewsTribe.com correspondent, a flight was going to New York which was delayed over the protest by pilots. The scheduled time of the flight was 8:30 am. It will leave at 11 am.

Passengers also suffered a lot of problems due to the delay. Such delays cost millions of rupees per day to PIA and also damages the image of the airline, said its spokesperson.
