HTC Desire Eye vs HTC One M8: full phone comparison   

WACHINGTON: As Taiwanese technological giant HTC released its mid rang flagship device HTC Desire Eye, let’s see how it can go against HTC One (M8).

HTC have made the strong impact in the market with its recently unveiled device HTC Desire Eye with 13 megapixels front and rare cameras.

HTC launched its flagship device HTC One (M8) back in March of this year, which was not as successful as HTC One (M7) went.

Than company also unveiled M8’s Windows vision with cooperation of Microsoft which is going on quite well in the market.

HTC once again manage to get people’s attention with its unique contribution with HTC Desire Eye.

Body:

The HTC Desire Eye is 151.7 x 73.8 x 8.5 mm (5.97 x 2.91 x 0.33 in dimensions while weight around 154 gm (5.43 oz) and also IPX7 certified, which make device dust proof and water resistant up to 1 meter and 30 minutes. On the other hand HTC One M8 features metal body of dimensions 146.4 x 70.6 x 9.4 mm (5.76 x 2.78 x 0.37) while weight around 160 g (5.64 oz).

Display:

HTC Desire Eye features a capacitive touchscreen, with 16 million  colors, 1080 x 1920 pixels, 5.2 inches (~424 ppi pixel density) and HTC Sense 6 UI with Multitouch available.

HTC M8 features a Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen, 16 million colors, 1080 x 1920 pixels, 5.0 inches (~441 ppi pixel density) Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and HTC Sense 6 UI with Multitouch available.

Sound:

HTC  is also famous for its sound and didn’t disappoint either because both devices have Yes, with stereo speakers, built-in amplifiers, and 3.5mm Jack.

Memory:

HTC One M8 is available in 16 and 32 GB versions while HTC Desire Eye will be available only in 16 GB version. Both devices have microSD slots supported up to 128 GB.

Camera:

Desire Eye has a front and rare 13 MP of resolution 4208 x 3120 pixels, autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, features Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and HDR capable of recording to 1080p@30fps video.

HTC One M8 features Dual 4 MP rare cameras of resolution 2688х1520 pixels, autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, check quality. It features 1/3” sensor size, 2µm pixel size, automatic simultaneous video and image recording, geo-tagging, face/smile detection, HDR, panorama. It can record 1080p@60fps, 720p@120fps, HDR, stereo sound recorder. The device also have 5 MP, 1080p@30fps, HDR.

Operating System:

Both device debut with Android 4.4.2 KitKat on board.

Processors:

HTC Desire Eye and HTC One M8 powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad core processor clocked at 2.3 GHz Karot 400 with 2 GB RAM on board.

Both device have the Nano SIM card slot.

So the above features describes that HTC Desire Eye have the slight edge with IPX7 certification and 13 megapixel camera while HTC One M8 have the advantage to metal body and slight edge as far as camera features are concerned.

So it’s up to you either you chose HTC One M8 or HTC Desire Eye  both of them are the great devices.
