KARACHI: Electricity supply to Hub pumping station has been disconnected causing suspension of water supply to huge area of Karachi.
According to the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) the electricity supply to Hub pumping station has been disconnected since last night 11 pm.
The KWSB also stated that due to electricity failure at the pumping station cut of 55 million gallon of water could not be supplied.
Karachi West and central areas were affected due to electricity failure, the KWSB added.
