KARACHI: A police party headed by Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir, Rao Anwar, raided a hideout in Ayub Goth near Super Highway and killed seven terrorists including a mastermind of attack on SP CID Chaudhry Aslam in an encounter, police said.
According to the police, on a tipped off police raided a hideout of a banned outfit in Lasi Goth area near Super Highway. When the police party reached the area, the alleged terrorists hurled grenade and opened fire on police, which was retaliated by the police ensuing a gun battle.
The shoot out resulted in the killing of seven alleged terrorists including Lal Dad who was allegedly involved in the attack on late Chaudhry Aslam.
Police said that three accomplices of the terrorists managed to flee from the spot while two motorcycles  and huge cache of ammunition was recovered from the terrorists hide .
Three of the deceased suspects were identified as Usman, Lal dad and Hussain.
