BANGALORE: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) won Champions League T20 (CLT20) title to rout Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by eight wickets in final match at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
Kolakta set 181 runs target to win the final match against Chennai. Chennai chased the target losing two wickets in 18.3 overs.
Skipper Gambhir made 80 runs off 52 balls while Robin Uthappa put his 39 runs against CSK.
Suresh Raina played a success innings for team victory. Raina knocked 109 runs off just 662 balls following eight sixes and six boundaries.
Raina got the ‘Player of the Series’ award for his brilliant performance in the tournament.
Pawan Negi got the ‘Man of the Match’ award for his splendid five wickets.
