SC expresses anger over delay in LB polls in Punjab, Sindh, KP

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) has expressed its anger over delay in holding of local bodies polls (LB) in three provinces.

The three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Nasir Ul Mulk heard the petition regarding LB polls on Friday.

The apex court ordered advocate generals of Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to take instructions from their respective provincial governments regarding holding of LB polls and inform the court in the next hearing.

The SC bench adjourned the case hearing till October 14.
