BCCI bans Sunil Narine form bowling in CLT20

HYDERABAD: Board of Cricket Control India has banned leading wicket taking bowler Sunil Narine in Champions League T20 after being reported for suspected bowling action, local media reported on Thursday.

According to reports he has been banned to bowl in rest of the champions league tournament.

However Kolkata Knight Riders have qualified for the final and will miss the services of leading wicket taker Sunil Narine.

Sunil Narine is the fourth bowler to be reported for a suspect action during the 2014 CLT20.

On-field umpires Anil Chaudhary and Chettihody Shamshuddin along with third umpire Kumar Dharmasena have observed Narine’s illegal bowling action.

Before this, Mohammed Hafeez and Adnan Rasool of Lahore Lions and Prenelan Subrayen of Dolphins have also been reported for their suspect bowling action.
