SC suspends election tribunal disqualification verdict of PTI MPA

ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court of Pakistan has suspended election tribunal decision regarding disqualification of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly member Ikram Ullah Gandapur.

An election tribunal of Peshawar last week had disqualified Gandapur on account of holding a fake degree.

Today the SC suspended the verdict and restored his assembly membership.

He was elected in the by-election for Dera Ismail Khan Pk-67 seat.

He was serving as agriculture minister in KP.
