TEHRAN: Iranian former President and present chairman of Guardian Council Sheikh Hashemi Rafsanjani said on Monday that America and its allies could not win the war without Iran’s participation against Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
According to foreign IRNA news agency, Rafsanjani said in a statement, America knew itself that it was not an easy to defeat ISIS without Iran’s involvement.
“United State (US) cannot eliminate the militants of ISIS just for air strikes, because we have the fresh examples,” Rafsanjani said.
“ISIS has captured the Kurdish majority area Kobani in Syria resulting continuously air strike by America and its allies,” he said.
