ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Monday congratulated Afghan newly elected President Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai.
President Mamnoon Hussain said Pakistan looked forward to building a strong bilateral relationship with Afghanistan.
Hussain said that only strong, stable and cooperative mutual relations can advance the interests of our two peoples and promote peace, stability and prosperity in the region.
“Pakistan and Afghanistan enjoy deep-rooted relations based on commonalities of faith, culture and history,” Hussain said.
