Lahore Lions lose opening match of CLT20 4 wickets against Kolkata

HYDERABAD: Pakistan’s Lahore Lions have lost their first Group-A match of Champion League T20 by four wickets against India’s Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

Lahore Lions set the 152 runs target for Kolkata in the first match of the event but the opposite team chased the target after losing six wickets in last over of the match.

Lions’ opener Ahmed Shehzad made 59 runs off 42 balls following four sixes and five boundaries.

Opener Robin Uthappa and skipper Gautam Gambhir set a great 100 runs partnership for coming batsmen. Gambhir made highest 60 runs and Uthappa put his 46 runs.

Sunil Narine got the man of the match award for his splendid wickets.

Shehzad got a bike in the award for his brilliant batting.
