MULTAN: As many as 11 people, including one groom, drowned near Sher Shah Dam in Multan as a rescue boat capsized, media reported.
According to the report, a rescue boat capsized near Sher Shah Dam on Sunday (today). The boat carrying 35 people, most of them wedding participants belonging to one family, was crossing the river as the boat was the only option to reach the destination due to the flood.
The bride was still missing and Pak Navy divers were busy searching the people.
The Edhi rescue sources have confirmed that 11 people have died in the incident.
