No more attacks: TTP Punjab’s Ismat Ullah Muavia

PESHAWAR: Tahreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) leader Ismat Ullah Muavia has announced that his group would not undertake any militant activity from now on. 

According to TV reports, the TTP Punjab leader announced in a video message that he and his group would only preach Islam from now on. He said they had taken the step in the best interest of Islam and Pakistan.

The TTP leader appealed to North Waziristan IDPs to go back to their respective areas. He also appealed to Pakistan government to provide transport to all the people of the tribal areas.

In his video message, Ismat Ullah urged other Taliban groups to do the same.
