Al-Amin reported for suspect action to ICC

DUBAI: Bangladesh pacer Al-Amin Hossain has been reported for a suspect bowling action to International Cricket Council (ICC) during the first Test match against West Indies on September 10.

The 21-year-old Hossain was a sixth bowler who reported for a suspect action to ICC.

Hossain will have to give action Test within 21 days by ICC at Brisbane or Cardiff while he can continue bowling in international cricket.

Earlier, Sri Lanka off-spin bowler Sachithra Senanayake, New Zealand’s Kane Williamson, Zimbabwe’s Prosper Utseya and Pakistan’s Saeed Ajmal were reported.

Senanayake, Williamson and Ajmal were banned from bowling after testing.
