PESHAWAR: Professor Ajmal Khan has taken charge as Vice Chancellor (VC) of Islamia University, Peshawar, again after four years.
He took charge of the university on Tuesday (today). When he reached the university, the staff presented a flower bouquet to him.
The security forces had recovered Prof Ajmal on August 29 from North Waziristan during Operation Zarb-e-Azab from terrorists’ captivity.
It is pertinent to mention here that Prof Khan had been abducted in 2010 when he was going to the university.
