LAHORE: As many as 103 people killed and 294 injured in Punjab due to flood and heavy rains, Punjab government has decided to impose flood emergency and directed to speed up rescue and aid services to rains victims.
Director General (DG) rescue Punjab has cancelled all leaves of the employees in the wake of flood and rains.
According to the rescue officials around 103 people including women and children lost their lives and as many as 294 were injured in last four days.
Of whom 24 persons died and 80 injured in Lahore.
More than 8000 employees of Punjab government were performing their duties in rains and flood affected areas.
