Heavy rain breaks 10 years record in Lahore

LAHORE: Heavy rain has broken a 10 years record after measuring 155 millimeter shower in the Punjab’s capital city Lahore, TheNewsTribe reported.

Rain started on Wednesday evening in Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Rawalpindi, Mianwali, Sahiwal, Daska, Okara and others cities of Punjab province.

Many areas of Lahore including Gulberg, Samanabad, Gulshan Ravi, Lakshmi Chowk and some others cities drowned in rain.

“Rain will continue for two to three days in these areas,” says Met office

At least 18 people including two women were killed as roof collapse and short circuit of electricity.

According to reports, more than 30 people have been killed so far because of heavy rain in different cities of Punjab.
