Australia defeats South Africa by 62 runs, despite 126 runs innings of Du Plessis

HARARE: Australia defeated South Africa by 62 runs in fourth One-Day International (ODI) match of Triangular series played at Harare Sports Club on Tuesday.

South Africa failed to chase down a respectable total of 282 runs despite 126 runs contribution of Faf du Plessis.

Proteas were all out on 220 runs against Aussies.

Mitchell Johnson and Mitchell March took 2 wickets each for Australia.

Earlier, Australia batting first scored 282 runs on loss of 7 wickets. Opener Phillip Hughes played a brilliant innings of 85 runs off 92 balls.

All-rounder Mitchell Marsh made his highest ODI score 86 runs off 51 balls in which he smashed seven sixes and hit five boundaries.

South African left-arm spinner Aaron Phangiso took two wickets giving 39 runs in his 10 overs.
