Zimbabwe finally beat Australia in ODI after 31 year

HARARE: Zimbabwe defeated Australia after 31 years by 3 wickets in 6th One-Day of Tri series played at Harare sports club on Sunday.

Zimbabwe chased down 209 runs total just in 48 overs. Skipper Elton Chigumbura played an unbeaten knock of 2 runs while Brandon Taylor played brilliantly for his 32 runs in middle order to guide the Zimbabwe to a comfortable victory by 3 wickets over Aussies.

Nathan Lyon took 4 wickets for Australia.

Australia made 209 runs batting first despite the return of Michael Clarke who was retired hurt on 68 runs.

Wicket keeper batsman Brad Haddin scored handy 47 runs at the end the innings to guide Aussies to score 190 runs on loss of 8 wickets.

Sean Williarns and Prospers Utseya took two wickets each for Zimbabwe.
