PAT two workers killed in police shelling: Dr Ayesha

ISLAMABAD: A spokesperson of Pakistan Institute of Medical Science (PIMS) hospital Dr. Ayesha on Sunday confirmed that Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) two workers were killed in police teargas shelling in the ‘Red Zone’ of Islamabad.

According to reports, both persons were critically suffered due to teargas shelling by police but they were died during the treatment in hospital.

“A teargas shell was directly hit on the stomach of a person so that he died after sometime,” Ayesha said.

“Mostly ladies and children have been injured due to shell of teargas,” she said.

Vice Chancellor of PIMS professor Dr. Javed Akram said that at least 223 injured people admitted in the hospital.
