PTI, PAT march towards PM House: Live Blog

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) supremo Tahirul Qadri on Saturday announced to move forward party-led sit-ins towards the Prime Minister’s House building in Islamabad.


PTI, PAT protestors have started their journey towards PM House Islamabad followed by recent directives released by Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri.

Military troops have taken positions on important building considered as national entities of Pakistan including PM House, President House and Parliament House.

Protests have now broken out in Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, Hyderabad, and other cities.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has directed his party workers to step forward to the PM House as protests are entering into its next phase.

Imran Khan delivered his new orders before the PTI protestors staging sit-ins in Islamabad’s Parliament House since August 14.

He reiterated that protestors will be peaceful while moving forward towards PM House.

PTI chief assured the security agencies that all protestors will maintain peace during next phase of ‘Independence March’ leaving towards PM House in few minutes.

He directed the women and children protestors to move back as first rows will be comprised of male workers while moving towards new destiny.

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri on Saturday announced to move forward party-led sit-ins towards the Prime Minister’s House building in Islamabad.

Tahirul Qadri has taken one-step forward as announced to stage sit-ins before Prime Minister House in Islamabad, the federal capital of Pakistan.

PAT chief have finally unveiled his next phase of protests while addressing to the party workers staging sit-ins in the federal capital since August 14.

Qadri reiterated that he is against terrorism and violence.

While directing the PAT workers to move forwards, Qadri repeated his statement several times that the protests are being shifted forward ‘peacefully’ just like they demonstrated before Parliament House.

Following the orders of PAT chief, activists have started lining up immediately to start their new journey towards PM House.

Government sources claimed that the protestors will not be resisted by the on-duty security officials followed by orders of higher authorities.
