Security forces recover Prof Ajmal Khan after four years

PESHAWAR: The security forces have recovered Islamia University Peshawar Vice Chancellor Professor Ajmal Khan.

According to military sources, the professor has been recovered from North Waziristan during the operation Zarb-e-Azab from terrorists’ captivity.

The security forces have shifted him to his residence in Peshawar.

His family and civil society members have thanked the security forces.

Prof Khan told reporters he had been abducted on gun point and the abductors made him unconscious through injections. When he came to, he found himself in a mountainous area.

It is pertinent to mention here that Prof Khan had been abducted in 2010 when he was going to the University.
