NOTTINGHAM: Indian opener Rohit Sharma will miss the rest of the series against England due to finger injure.
India began the series on the winning note while opener Rohit Sharma sustained the facture middle finger during the match.
According to Board of Control for Cricket India, Murali Vijay has replaced the injured opener for the rest of three One Day Internationals (ODI) and Twenty 20 (T20) series.
However Indian team is leading the five matches’ series 1-0 with three ODIs remaining.
World Champions will be in action on third ODI on Saturday, August 30 against the host.
