ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan claimed that his next announcement would create extreme difficulties for Pakistani premier to run government.
Imran Khan revealed some details of significant meeting held with top military head, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, in Islamabad.
Khan said that Army Chief guaranteed transparent investigation of the election while PM Nawaz Sharif is not ready to resign from premiership.
He rejected the PTI’s role to demand mediation from Pakistani military as the number of participants in sit-ins are continuously increasing. He termed the reports, claiming that PTI invited Army Chief to act as mediator, as ‘100 lie’.
PTI chief clarified that his political party would not make any agreement until PM resigns from his post.
It is noteworthy to mention here that COAS General Raheel Sharif had invited the protesting political parties to resolve issues via negotiations by offering to act as ‘mediator’ amongst Pakistan government, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT).
