ISLAMABAD: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Farooq Sattar has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif should take stand to resolve existing political crisis in the wake of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) sit-inns in capital Islamabad.
Talking to media after MQM delegation meet-up with PM, Farooq Sattar said that Government should show big heart to end the ongoing political turmoil in the country adding that the Government should take initiative first to resolve the matter.
The MQM leader said that his party was doing all its best efforts to seek solution to the crisis and they wanted that democracy continued in the country.
He also said that MQM was in favor of the system and wished that it could not derail.
Ego should be keep set aside from the all the parties concerned to resolve the differences, Farooq Sattar added.
Earlier the MQM delegation headed by Khalid Maqbool Siddique called on Prime Minister in his secretariat. The MQM delegation comprised of Farooq Sattar, Baber Ghouri and Hyder Abbas Rizvi.
The PM was accompanied with Senator Ishaq Dar, Khwaja Asif, Pervez Rasheed and Irfan Siddique at the meeting.
