LONDON: London’s Metropolitan police, New Scotland Yard, has arrested a Pakistani suspect in Imran Farooq murder case.
London Metropolitan police on Wednesday arrested a 30-year-old suspect in connection with Dr Imran Farooq’s murder, reports said.
According to the Scotland Yard, the suspect, who is said to be a British national of Pakistani origin, is currently in detention at the Central London Police Station while he is belonging to a political party.
He was arrested during a raid conducted by counter terrorism force at one of the houses in Waltham Forest on morning.
“London Police has arrested MQM UK worker in connection with Dr. Imran Farooq Murder case, arrested person isn’t a party leader” said Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Muhammad Anwar while talking to the BBC.
According to the London Police two persons, Kashif Khan and Muhsin Ali Saeed involved in Imran Farooq murder case were escaped from United Kingdom.
