Sri Lanka sets 311 runs target against Pakistan in 2nd ODI

HAMBANTOTA: Pakistan need 311 runs to win against Sri Lanka in second One Day International played at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.


Host won the toss and elected to bat first against the Green Shirts. Sri Lankan lost two big wickets of Tillakaratne Dilshan and Kumar Sangakkara early in the innings just 51 on score board.

Lankan skipper once again got unlucky, as he lost his wicket after scoring brilliant 93 runs while Mahela Jayawardane made classy 67 runs to gain upper hand against Pakistan’s bowling.

All rounder Thisara Perara played brilliant cameo of 65 runs at the end of the innings to guide Lankan team 310 runs on loss of 9 wickets .

 Wahab Riaz took 4 wickets while Mohammad Hafeez  picked up 3 wickets  for the Green Shirts.
