Sri Lanka sets massive target against Pakistan in 1st ODI

HAMBANTOTA: Sri Lankan team has set massive 276 runs target losing seven wickets at 45 over match in the first one-day against Pakistan at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium, Hambantota.

Match was reduced up to 45 over due to rain in the first ODI.

Skipper Angelo Mathews played a good innings and made his splendid 89 runs while an experienced batsman Mahela Jayawardene was run out on 63 runs.

Left-arm pacer Wahab Riaz took three wickets giving 50 runs in his nine over while Muhammad Irfan took two wickets.

Sri Lanka made highest 105 runs in last 60 balls against Pakistan’s pacers.
