LAHORE: Amir-e-Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Siraj Ul Haq has said that nation is worry on current political turmoil in the country adding that negotiation could only solve the existing political crisis.
Talking to the media after meeting with Pakistan People Party (PPP) delegation headed by its Co Chairman Asif Ali Zardari at Mansoora Lahore, he said that it was good that all the political parties of the country were in favor of constitution and democracy.
Siraj Ul Haq said that friendly countries including China have called upon to solve the political turmoil through talks.
The JI Chief suggested Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to review its decision tendering resignations from the parliament.
He also stressed on all the political parties to forget all the bitterness of the past for the sake of country interest.
The JI head categorically said that negotiation after negotiation only acceptable solution of the existing crisis and no other solution would be acceptable.
Siraj Ul Haq said that political turmoil could be solved if JI formula implemented.
He further added that political consultations with political parties would continue and JI would be in contact of PPP’s four member committee.
Earlier, PPP Co Chairman Asif Ali Zardari visited JI headquarter Mansoora with his delegation for the consultations to bring an end current political unrest in the wake of PTI and PAT sit-inns in capital Islamabad.
The PPP delegation consisting of Rehman Malik, Khursheed Shah, Aitazaz Ahsan and Raza Rabbani accompanied with former president Asif Ali Zardari.
