Pakistan suffers Rs400 billion economic loss amid PTI, PAT protests

ISLAMABAD: Nation economy lost 400 Billion rupees from Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI)’s Azadi march and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT)’s revolution march, report.

In the written answer against the filled application in Supreme Court against the probable revolt, federal government said, PTI’s Azadi March and PAT’s revolution march cost 400 billion rupees losses to National economy.

International Monitory Fund (IMF)’s delegation cancelled its scheduled visit while the things went even worst for the country when Sri Lankan President also cancelled his scheduled visit to Pakistan due to ongoing political crisis.

Pakistan government had adopted its stance that no comprise will be made on national security and sovereignty. The federal government reiterated that the Lahore High Court (LHC) had declared ‘Independence’ and ‘Revolution’ marches ‘illegal and ‘unconstitutional’ while protesting leaders avoided the court’s decision.

According to the Pakistan government’s answer to SC, PTI and PAT promised not to enter into Red Zone but failed to fulfill the promises.
