PMLN govt to bring ‘motion of no confidence’ in KP

PESHAWAR: Pakistan government has formulated its powerful strategy against protesting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the ruling political party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province.

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to bring ‘motion of no confidence’ against KP government, just after PTI’s announcement to resign from national and provincial assemblies of Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab.

Opposition powers of KP government have started contacting all opponent political parties, as Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazal (JUI-F) leader Lutfur Rehman slammed the expected move to dissolve KP assembly via PTI’s resignation.

A meeting would be commenced on Sikandar Sherpao’s residence today in order to finalise further plans for successfulness of motion of no confidence against PTI, sources said.

Maulana Lutfur Rehman said that dissolving KP assembly will be an unconstitutional move. Rehman aimed to block all paths of assembly dissolution via united efforts of opposition parties.

Ally political parties of PTI including Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) and Jamhori Ittehad will also be contacted, JUI-F leader said.
