PTI Azadi March :N-League Pomi Butt says he is not ‘Gullu Butt’

ISLAMABAD: Pomi Butt, a brother of Pakistan Muslim League-N MPA, courted arrest in Gujranwala’s Sabzi Mandi Police station after being accused of leading a mob to attack Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf long march.

The long march participants were attacked with stones after reaching Gujranwala. However, Pomi Butt denied his involvement in any such activity, saying that the PTI was accusing him to hide its failure.

He said that he appeared before police on the orders of his leadership. Pomi Butt said that every Butt is being presented as Gullu Butt. He condemned the attack on PTI long marchers.

Gullu Butt was caught on TV cameras while smashing cars during Model Town calashes between Awami Tehreek workers and police. He was accused of attacking the cars at the behest of PML-N. The Pomi Butt episode could deal a strong blow to the ruling party if allegations against him are proved in the court of law, experts said on Friday.
