Indian PM Modi inaugurates controversial power project at Kargil

KARGIL: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Tuesday, said that today he was completing the aim of former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee and he will never do compromise at Siachen Glacier.

According to the details, Indian PM Modi visited on the Tuesday (morning) at Siachen and addressed to Indian army.

Modi inaugurated the 45-MW Nimoo-Bazgo hydroelectric power project at Alchi village.

Modi also inaugurated the foundation stone of the 1,700 crore and 330-km long Leh-Srinagar transmission line.

Modi is the first prime minister to visit the Kargil after scenario of 1999.
