Sri Lanka won by 7 wickets

GALLE: Sri Lanka has defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in first Test match at Galle International stadium.

Pakistan gave minor 99 runs target to host Sri Lanka in last day of first Test in Galle.

Wicket-keeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed was the only man who made 52 (not out) considerable score from Green Shirts side.

Pakistan displayed only 180 runs on the last day of first Test match against Lankan squad.

Younus Khan’s 177 runs and Kumar Sangakkara’s 221 runs were lead in the Galle Test.

Sri Lanka led the two match series 1-0. The second Test will be played from 14th to 18th August at Sinhalese Sports Club, Colombo.

Left-arm spinner Rangana Herath got the man of the match award for his nine wickets.
