Pakistan under pressure against Sri Lanka in 1st Test

GALLE: Pakistan team has entered in critical situation of the first Test after losing eight wickets on 153 runs at Galle International stadium.

One after another, Pakistan team lost its precious seven wickets in start of the last day.

Green Shirts has given so far 71 runs lead to Sri Lanka at the end of tea time.

Younus Khan, who had made 177 runs in first innings, was clearly bowled by left-arm spinner Ranaga Herath while Asad Shafiq was also dismissed by Herath’s bowl.

Middle order batsman Azhar Ali showed some resistance against Sri Lankan bowlers and Ali also dismissed on 41 runs.

Wicket-keeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed, who had knocked a half-century in first innings, is playing aggressively on 29 runs.
