KARACHI: A powerful explosion has been heard in densely populated Frontier Colony area of the metropolis on Saturday (today).
Explosion took place near Metroville Hospital inside blocks’ shopper expected to be left by unidentified terrorists, initial reports said.
Security and rescue teams have been dispatched on the incident’s site, however, no casualty has been reported till yet.
Police sources told TNT representative that Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) has been called at bomb site in order to investigate the genre of the blast.
The explosion was carried out near a trader’s home via hand grenade, sources added.
