JI Siraj-ul-Haq foretells ‘big incident’ after August 14

PESHAWAR: Veteran politician and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Siraj-ul-Haq has predicted the outcome of current political weather in Pakistan; said that ‘big incident could occur after August 14 if Pakistan government makes more delay’.

Siraj-ul-Haq said, ‘Few days are left for August 14, now ball is in government’s court.’

He warned the federal government about the ‘expected incident or accident’ in case of more delay in resolution of the ongoing political crisis.

While addressing the press conference in Peshawar, Siraj-ul-Haq said that he presented his suggestions before the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in order formulise resolution of political crisis.

Pakistan PM also affirmed to hold consultations on suggestions during last meeting held in Islamabad on Wednesday (yesterday) and said that ‘the formula is applicable’, Haq said.

He further clarified that Pakistan government is more responsible than any other political power in the country and he expects ‘first move from the federal government’.

The JI chief said that protests, rallies and sit-ins are political right of any party, whereas, government has to show his openheartedness on the issues.

He strongly opposed the motives inciting violence in Pakistan and urged to resolve issues on table via adopting political paths.

JI chief revealed his observations about the foreign influences to put Pakistan in political crisis as NATO forces are vacating the Afghanistan this year.

He said that foreign powers are trying to create deteriorated situations in Pakistan like Iraq in order to complete their ulterior motives.
