MAKKAH: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on Tuesday banned its male citizens to marry foreign women belonging to specified four countries across the globe.
Saudi Arabia has introduced a law banishing his male citizens to marry women from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Burma and Chad, Saudi media reported on Tuesday.
The kingdom also imposed new regulation to restrict its citizens’ marriages with Morocco women under strict circumstances.
According to reports, a Saudi man has to prove clean criminal and health record before marrying a Moroccan woman, as well as provide evidence that she is not drug addicted.
The Saudi married men, who are willing to marry a Moroccan woman, have also restricted to obtain formal permission from his previous wife.
Moreover, the citizen would have to provide a genuine reason to marry the Moroccan women that his previous wife is suffering from a major disease, disable or sterile.
It should be mentioned here the new law will also restrict the age gap between the newly married couple, which should not exceed 25 years.

Each citizen is bounded to wait for the government’s approval after submitting a formal application to a special committee authorised to allow or deny the proposal.
However, no official announcement has been released by the Saudi government till yet.
