MADRID, Spain: Spain has become the first European country to show any reaction against Israel.
Spain announced on Tuesday that it is going to halt arms sales supply to Israel as a protest against Gaza tragedy.
Israeli media said today that Spain has announced that it can not continue supplying arms to Israel.
Sources said that this announcement has come after the recent operation in Gaza.
Spain further said that they will reevaluate their decision when situation improves in the region and the move will be reviewed again next month.
Spanish media, commenting on the decision, says that this move will not affect Israel much, however, it will communicate to the world that Spain is not silent at what Israel is doing.
The media has termed the decision as symbolic.It should be noted that Spanish masses are shocked and upset at what is happening in Gaza and government has decided to resonate with its masses through this decsion
