All-rounder Nida Dar gets life threats by former brother-in-law in Gujranwala

GUJRANWALA: Pakistan women cricket team all-rounder Nida Rashid Dar on Saturday allegedly received severe attack from her former brother-in-law in Gujranwala after receiving life threats.

Nida Dar alleged that her former brother-in-law Junaid Sandhu tortured her and demanded the extortion.

Dar further said that she registered a complaint in police department but no strict action has been taken till yet, hence she is now isolated inside her home.

“I lost the net practice and even I cannot join the training camp for Australia tour which is going to start on August 5 in Lahore,” Dar said.
