Sea View incident: 39 dead bodies recovered in Karachi

KARACHI: Dead bodies figure have reportedly increased up to 39 as Navy’s rescue team recovered more three bodies today by drowning at Sea View beach, Karachi.

Pakistan Navy and other rescue teams are jointly conducted the search operation for the recovery of bodies at Sea View beach.

An incident was occurred on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr (July 30) when three boys and a 12-year-old child drowned near famous picnic spot ‘Do Darya’.

But after receiving more complaints from the families of missing persons, the rescue teams expanded the search activities and recovered five more dead bodies; subsequently death toll rises up to 39.
