RIYADH: Saudi Arabian King Abdullah has slammed inaction of international community over Israeli aggression against Palestinians in Gaza and termed it as ‘war crimes’ during his speech on Friday.
Saudi King in his speech, read out on state television, termed the Israeli offensive in Gaza as war crimes, as death toll crosses 1500 on 25th day of the conflict.
He criticised the international inaction over Israeli aggression in Gaza, which he described as involvement in mass slaughter.
King Abdullah said that the international community has observed silence as what is happening in the whole region, as it is not its concern and the silence has no justification.
He added that terrorism was posing a threat to the Arab and Muslim world and urged the region’s leaders and religious scholars to prevent Islam from being hijacked by militants.
